The DynaMORE project, a multidisciplinary research endeavor, brings together a team of scientists with the shared goal of developing an in silico model of stress resilience. Focusing on the psychological, behavioral, neural, and physiological markers of individuals, particularly those experiencing stressful life phases, the project employs advanced mathematical modeling to identify key risk indicators and resilience factors. This comprehensive approach aims to create a prognostic tool for individuals to monitor their mental stability and intervene effectively before reaching a personal "tipping point." By understanding what keeps people healthy, DynaMORE seeks to address the growing burden of stress-related disorders, which affect over half a billion people worldwide each year. The project's research has far-reaching implications, as stress-related disorders, including anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and addiction, have significant economic costs. In Europe alone, these disorders are estimated to cause direct and indirect economic costs of approximately 200 billion euros annually. By shifting the focus from disease to resilience, DynaMORE aims to contribute to a better understanding of stress resilience and its applications in various contexts, including daily life, education, and professional settings. The DynaMORE project has made significant progress, with multiple longitudinal studies collecting valuable data and numerous scientific publications. The project has also led to the development of two mobile health apps aimed at improving mental health in young adults. These achievements were celebrated at the project's final General Assembly in Warsaw, Poland, where consortium members gathered to discuss the scientific progress and future collaborations. The project's conclusion marks a new chapter for the resilience research community, with DynaMORE's findings and products poised to continue making a positive impact in the field.
